Dr. David Ludwig and The Trump Network.

Dr. Ludwig has been kind enough to point out to me that some of our marketers have been incorrectly describing a relationship with The Trump Network and Snazzle Snaxxs. It’s really important for us all that you correct these oversights right away. Here’s why: there’s a great and significant divide between academic work and commercial work. Dr. Ludwig works in the academic world, both as a physician specializing in childhood obesity, and researching and writing about issues related to metabolism and health. As an academician (and a prominent one at that) he takes great pains to ensure that he stays far away from conflicts of interest that would cast a shadow on his academic reputation and independence. He is, and must remain, a fiercely independent researcher.  Please click the “more” button to read the rest of this important article. (more…)

Here, by popular request,  is the set of PowerPoint slides from our Miami launch event, featuring some of the people who achieved great results on The Silhouette Solution program. You may download this and use it in your own presentations and other person-to-person outreach. Enjoy!

Note that you may not post these slides anywhere else online, or make any changes whatsoever to their content.

Here, for the many who have asked, is a pdf of the Snazzle Snaxxs brochure. This is really just for your reference, since when you are talking with prospects, you really want to use the professionally printed ones available on the order lines. Put it to good use!

Here’s the second call (a short one) of Snazzle Snaxxs Q&A, featuring several items:

1. Information about Dr. David Ludwig (we are proud to offer his book as part of the program, but it’s important for you all to know that he does not and cannot endorse Snazzle Snaxxs, and it’s equally important that you all honor that!).

2. Discussion of the potential role of the Snaxxs within the context of a healthy diet.

3. Some material on internet disinformation.

Note that there are also some FAQs at the end of last week’s call. I have to tell you in advance, when I did this call I had just finished a 13-hour day chock-full of meetings and appointments, arriving home just in time to dial the conference call number at 9.30pm. Even with Custom Essentials, I was absolutely exhausted, so the delivery (done sitting down) is a lot more laid back than my usual punchy style, but there’s some fun stuff in there anyway. Click here to listen.

I’ve been asked by some marketers to create a smaller-size version of the Snazzle Snaxxs presentation, so here’s a pdf version that’s less than 3Mb. Note that the image quality is much lower resolution, so do not use this version for projection on large screens. Use the large one for that. You can download the new small one here. Put it to good use!

I am continuously amazed by people, particularly new marketers, who think we somehow overlooked stevia when we launched QuikStiks and The Silhouette Solution. We didn’t. We consciously used sucralose because it was the safest, most effective choice at the time, familiar to our formulary and their food scientists, and we wanted to bring the products to market quickly.

Let me give you some context: remember that our target market is not the “purist” market, but middle America, that currently consumes all kinds of garbage without even bothering to read the labels. There are plenty of other companies out there catering to the purist segments. In any case, the bulk of our sweetening is from fructo-oligosaccharides (an inulin extract of chicory root). There are articles and videos on this elsewhere on this blog. (more…)

There’s a lot of confusion out there regarding the use of soy products, and many marketers and customers have run into information that has caused them unnecessary worry. I always believe that it’s best for people to have the latest information at their fingertips, so they can make better decisions for their health. Accordingly, I have posted two papers for your review: the first is a short overview by my old GYN professor, Dr. Tori Hudson, one of the country’s foremost experts on women’s health, and author of “The Women’s Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine.” Download the article here.

The second is what Dr. Hudson says is the best and most up-to-date scientific review on the subject, published just last year. Click here to download. It’s a little technical, but it will be helpful for those who require that kind of detail. By getting up to speed on all this, you can make better-informed personal decision for your wellbeing. Remember, it’s all about taking personal responsibility for your health!

Hello everyone. Well, they’re here: our latest product line, Snazzle Snaxxs. Snacks and drinks that will help kids, not hurt them.

To have the best experience, click here first to download the PowerPoint (a BIG file), then click here to listen to the audio. Finally, click here for the short video of the kids taste test at corporate. You’ll most likely need iTunes to watch the video.

Note: you do not have permission to post these files anywhere online. They are exclusive to this site. If you have already done so, remove them at once, as their use constitutes a brand violation and your account may be subject to suspension or termination.

Enjoy!

As promised on last night’s product call, here are two videos for you to use with your prospects. These explain, in simple terms, the fundamentals of our products and programs with no technical language.

This short, 5-minute clip is the one that was first broadcast at the giant New York City event that featured Mr Trump himself. Click here to listen.

This longer, 18-minute clip is for those who want a little more detail. Click here to listen.

Put them to good use!

Here, for your entertainment, is a posting I made a couple of years ago on a different blog, but people have told me it belongs here too. Have fun!

Everyone always wants to have a doctor in their business, and most marketers (especially new ones) waste countless hours and days prospecting clinicians they don’t know (i.e. cold market) without understanding at least two important things: first, that clinicians fall into many different categories, each with their own characteristics, and second, the many pitfalls and challenges they’ll run into. Remember also that our programs are not designed for clinical use, but for public use. So before you approach any clinicians, take a listen to this training call (many times) and get clear what all the issues are before you even begin. And while you’re getting all this settled in your mind, get out and talk to passionate, entrepreneurial people you know. You’ll build much faster that way!

By the way, especially for the new folks, take note: EVERY single ND, DC or holistic MD, dietitian, nutritionist, personal trainer has received multiple unsolicited e-mails from Ideal Health marketers over the past 12 years. Did you really think you were the first to think of that?  Continuous unsolicited e-mails from multiple marketers not only make the company look bad, but annoy the clinicians.  That’s why it’s best to approach clinicians only if they KNOW you or know of you. OK?  So, let me put it clearly: no clinician spam, gang. Take the high road.
