Alcohol is everywhere: in every culture around the world. It’s a social lubricant, a supposed stress-reliever, a depressant that can act like a stimulant (as first), a colossal social problem, the cause of billions of dollars of health care expense, and yet it’s an almost universally “happy thing.” It’s consumed by everyone from animals in the rainforest that seek out fermented fruits, to daily after-work beer drinkers, to gourmets that will savor only the best. It’s therefore one of the most confusing, conflicting things in the world. The ultimate double-edged sword. But how many drinkers even know its effects? How does it work in the body? What does it do? And how does it impact weight loss and maintenance? Prepare for some surprises, and many “aha” moments . . . Now click here to listen . . .
As many of you know, The Silhouette Solution is intended to be used in many different ways, and one of those is a multi-step process outlined in Harvard Professor Dr. George Blackburn’s book “Break Through Your Set Point.” Some people like to keep on going until they reach their goal weight, while other take it in stages, allowing their body to reach a new “set point” before starting back down.
This call is about starting back down, because although it seems simple, there are lots of pitfalls that can get in the way: the first few days are exactly like the first few days after you began the first time.
Join me and my guests, Caroline Rawlinson and Tim Miers as we discuss how to restart a Silhouette program any time you want. Click here to listen.
For centuries, civilizations around the world have used natural botanicals to provide support for the body’s immune system in times of increased challenge, such as during a cold or flu. Vitamin C has also been recognized for decades as a substance supporting immune function.
Botanicals and nutrients play important roles in two of our immune system support products: ProGard and Ideal-C. To learn all about them, click here.
We’re in the wellness business, not in the illness business. While doctors diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or even prevent disease, that’s not the arena where we do our good work in the nutritional world. We’re on the other side of the story, so we don’t do any of those things. Rather, we do our best to enhance people’s wellbeing. Many of you have asked me to talk a bit more about the concept I introduced at our recent event in Las Vegas, a piece that clearly illustrates what we do and what people may expect; a piece that clearly distinguishes the work that doctors do from the work that we do. Some have called it the “Wellness Continuum,” and I often refer to it as “The Levels of Normal,” because most people have never seen it described. This is an especially important piece because although you all know that none of our products are intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or mitigate any disease or condition, it’s sometimes difficult to understand why, if that’s the case, so many people get such great results and positive health benefits. This should give you some good ideas. Please click here to download the two PowerPoint slides, then click here to listen to the audio. Enjoy, and put it to good use!
